Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy (BCST) is a sensitive and gentle hands-on bodywork modality. The therapist uses a very gentle and light “listening touch” to tune into the rhythmic fluid system of Primary Respiration found within bodies tissues and fluids.
The main goal of BCST is to cultivate a feeling of safety in the body and support the restoration of its inherent state of well-being. Rooted in the biodynamic concept, this approach involves acknowledging the body's inherent drive towards wholeness and relying on its innate intelligence to guide the journey towards recovery and optimal functioning. BCST strives to reestablish a connection to our hearts and realign our body, mind, and spirit with the innate blueprint of well-being.
The BCST practitioner refrains from imposing a predetermined plan on the patient's system. Instead, there is a willingness to yield to the priorities of the body, allowing its natural course to guide the process. External mechanical force is avoided, emphasizing a more organic and responsive approach.
